SEA CONTAINERS WA THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!

In late 2015 Sea Containers WA commenced work on a pretty interesting container modification job at our depot in Kwinana Beach.
We had been working on this quote for the better part of a year, liaising with the contractors direct to ensure that the idea the client had in mind could be fully brought to fruition.

The plan was to turn a 40’ container into a “crate” for a well-known restaurant in Bunbury to enable additional restaurant and dining space.
Mojo’s is a Bunbury CBD restaurant and wine bar. Mojo’s is home to Bunbury’ s best food & wine, bistro classics and contemporary cafe favorites using fresh local produce.
Sea Containers WA liaised directly with all contractors involved, organizing the fit out of the café blinds prior to the container departing our workshop.
Our Modifications team also followed up with a visit after delivery, making sure everything was going according to plan with the container, and that ultimately the clients original idea had been brought to life just as they had envisaged and were happy with the end product.
Julie and Noel from Mojos also organized a local artist to paint “The Lady in the Crate” to give the container even more character.

This innovative idea for more restaurant spacing in Bunbury certainly caused a stir, but it has turned out to be such a great idea! We hear the word is out in Bunbury, so keep your eyes peeled for more of these to pop up!
